New pupils are enrolled in January and April at an age of 13. Pupils with 13 years are admitted in D-form and those with 14 years are enrolled in C-form.

In their last two years of study, pupils are offered Indian school Certificate and International Baccalaureate. About The Doon School, It has remained a boy school despite of of facing political pressure aiming to convert it to a coeducational institution. Alumni of this school are called ‘Doscos’. Although the number of Doscos is relatively low, many of them are in government positions, Business managerial jobs and renowned politicians
